Most World Golf Village homes went up in the 2000s and 2010s, so a lot of the systems that came with them are now well into their second decade. We keep them running, tell you straight when it's time to replace, and help with the air inside your home too.
World Golf Village was created by the PGA Tour in the late 1990s on a 6,300-acre tract in St. Johns County, with its own I-95 interchange. The World Golf Hall of Fame opened there in 1998. It closed its World Golf Village campus in 2023 and moved back to Pinehurst, but the neighborhoods around it kept growing.
Census data puts the median World Golf Village home at 2009, and about 91% of its housing was built in 2000 or later. That makes it one of the newer communities we serve, and it changes what most homeowners here need from an HVAC company.
We're veteran & family-owned and based in St. Augustine, and World Golf Village is part of our regular St. Johns County service area. Our techs carry the common parts on the truck, so most repairs are done in one visit.
World Golf Village sits inland, west of the beaches, so salt air isn't the big issue here the way it is on the coast. What we see more often is equipment age, humidity inside tightly built homes, and a mix of heat pumps and gas furnaces that each need their own kind of care.
A home from 2005 is still a newer home. The air conditioner that came with it is a different story.
Systems installed during World Golf Village's busiest building years have now run through a lot of long, hot seasons. That's usually when bigger repairs start showing up.
New air conditioners stopped being made with R-22 refrigerant in 2010, and production of R-22 ended January 1, 2020. A system installed before 2010 may still use it, which makes refrigerant leaks expensive to fix.
About 16% of occupied homes in World Golf Village heat with utility gas, which is unusual for the area. If yours has a gas furnace, we service and repair furnaces as well as heat pumps.
0% financing for up to 21 months is available on approved system replacements through Hearth, and anything we install meets Florida's current efficiency minimums.
Newer homes are built tight, which is great for your power bill but can trap humidity, dust and odors. That's why whole-home air purifiers come up so often out here.
We install the REME HALO whole-home air purifier, plus the HALO LED System for longer life. Both work inside your existing HVAC system.
VIVE Air Systems add UV treatment and air purification right inside the air handler.
The Aprilaire E100 dehumidifier pulls extra moisture out of the air, which helps on those muggy days when the AC alone doesn't keep up.

Because some World Golf Village homes heat with gas and most heat with electricity, it helps to know which one you've got before something breaks.
If your home is all-electric, you probably have a heat pump. The outdoor unit handles cooling in summer and heating in winter, so it runs year-round and benefits from twice-a-year checkups.
If you have a gas bill and a furnace in the garage, attic or a closet, your heat comes from gas and your outdoor unit only cools. The furnace needs its own check before cold weather.
No problem. We'll identify it on the first visit and tell you exactly what kind of maintenance it needs.
Our Premier Maintenance Plan includes a fall heat pump and heating check, so your heat is ready before the first cold snap.
Every service links to the details.
